Canada highway to Quebec City, located on the north shore of the
mighty St. Lawrence River.
• We anticipate an early evening arrival at the fabulous 4.5 Star
Hôtel Palace Royal, located steps from the historical area of Old
Quebec City next to the gates on St. Jean Street. Relax while your
tour manager checks the group in, distributes your room key, and
has your bag delivered to your room (fee covered for 1

• We will have free time in Old Quebec for a lunch stop (on own) at a local restaurant of your choice to sample
some of the fantastic Quebecoise cuisine followed by our visit to the Basilica at Ste. Anne-du-Beaupre with a
guided tour. The Basilica is one of the five national shrines of Canada, always a memorable visit.
• Next, we visit the Albert Gilles Copper Boutique & Art Museum for a brief tour and an opportunity to shop
the handiworks of these highly- skilled artisans.
• This is followed by our short drive along the shoreline of the mighty St. Lawrence River where we will check
in to our home for the next two nights, the luxurious 5-star Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. Located in the
heart of the Charlevoix region, Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu has it all — a stunning natural backdrop, luxury
accommodations, and entertainment options galore. Built over 125 years ago, the majestic hotel sits perched
on the edge of a cliff overlooking the St. Lawrence River.
• Your bags will be sent directly to your room, allowing for plenty of time to explore the property before our
first group dinner together.
• Tonight, we gather for a ‘Welcome Dinner’, complete with a glass of wine or beer (included). Let us raise a

We will visit a local winery and fromagerie to learn about their

• Lunch and dinner are on own today. Relax at the beach, explore
the beautiful grounds, visit local art galleries, and wood carving shops, and see more of what many say is one
of Quebec’s most beautiful villages!

• Enjoy your buffet breakfast (included) before our check-out and our drive to the ferry terminal at Saint
Simeon to cross the mighty St. Lawrence River.

across the St. Lawrence (tickets and fees included).
• After we disembark in Riviere-du-Loup, QC we’ll have a lunch-stop along our route before checking
into our hotel, the 4-Star Hôtel Levesque. The tour manager will check the group in/hand out room keys.
• Take some time to relax before our final meal together. Join us in the hotel dining room this evening for our
‘Farewell Group Dinner’ including a glass of wine or beer (included) as we raise a glass to this thrilling
adventure.
